Cllr Billy Drummond Requests Your Thoughts on a “Diamond Community Centre”

Would you be willing to share your thoughts in writing below, or maybe on video, about having an all new singing and dancing village hall, community centre, wellness hub on the “Diamond” John W Mello Field?

Cllr Billy Drummond would like to hear from you… in fact, he’d like you to “tell him more, tell him more…” and so would all the Cllrs. Seeing him on the bleacher reminded me of that opening scene in Grease ;)

For us to move this project forward we are going to need to apply for a great deal of funding and the more support the better. 165 of you completed the survey back in 2024. Thank you. What we need now are specific user focused support, saying how you, your community group or your business might make use of a 350-450 square metre community building. We’ll then use some of the relevant comments in our applications for funding.
