Hello,

I'm writing to inform you of some works due to commence in January 2026, in close proximity to your premises, and to introduce myself as a point of contact.

On behalf of Thames Water, M Group Water will be completing essential works to provide a new wastewater pumping station and to install a new foul water main. The works are planned to be completed in October 2026. Throughout the works we will provide weekly updates on our Job Webpage | Newbury Rugby Club. You'll also find answers to our frequently asked questions, including 'will my supply be affected?'

The works will be taking place in the car park of Newbury Rugby Club and will join Monks Lane. Once at Monks Lane works will continue up to the roundabouts at the junction of Andover Road where the main will join the existing network. 

There will be traffic management in place and businesses/residents access will be maintained throughout the works. During road closures advanced warning and diversion signs will be displayed.

We appreciate this may cause disruption. Our team will work efficiently to finish the essential works as soon as possible and minimise any impact.
