Tour of Kennet Valley Wetland Reserve

As part of West Berkshire Council’s Community Climate Forum I went along to the Hungerford last week and we had a tour of Kennet Valley Wetland Reserve and learned about their plans to turn the reserve into a fully fledged Wetland Reserve and Education and Information Centre.

Town and Manor of Hungerford to restore some 40 acres of former water meadows in the Kennet Valley, and develop them as a wetland reserve. Find out more about their plans and donate on their website

It’s good to meet up with fellow Clerks, parish councillors, West Berkshire officers and local activists, to discuss ideas for helping the community at this time of climate change.
