Parish Council Vacancy – Greenham Parish Council

A vacancy has arisen on Greenham Parish Council following the departure of Councillor Steve Jones.

In accordance with Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, a notice of vacancy has been published. If, within 14 working days of the date of this notice, a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at West Berkshire Council by ten electors from the parish, an election will be held. If no such request is received, the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
