Does Your Community Group Need Extra Funding?

Greenham Parish Council has the power to award grants under Section 137 of the Local Government Act 1972 which empowers English parish and town councils to spend limited funds on community projects that directly benefit residents, particularly when no other statutory power exists.

We work closely with, and many of our applicants are able to get match funding from “The Good Exchange”.

Greenham Trust runs The Good Exchange to help funders in its local area (along with partner funders in its funding area and surrounding locations) to give and receive grants more quickly

Have you got projects that need funding that help residents of Greenham Parish?

You’d best come along and hear how you might make use of The Good Exchange to maximise your funding needs at Greenham Parish Assembly on the 15th April at The Greenham Control Tower.

Book your place below…

The evening will start at 6pm with the opportunity for residents to talk to local community groups, your Greenham Parish Councillors and other residents while enjoying some nibbles and a nice cup of tea.

There will be a dozen or so local community groups on the first floor, sharing their contribution to the parish.

Food, provided by the parish, will be available downstairs in the cafe.

Around 7:00pm there will be a few short presentations.

Residents can then continue finding out more about the community groups, discussing relevant topics with their Councillors or simply catching up with their neighbours until close at 9pm.

Come and hear what we’ve been up to, on your behalf, last year and what we have planned for the future.

If you’d like to attend then please complete the form below so we can cater for you:

Thank you.
